Who we are
Our story
Blue Water Energy was founded in 2018 with a clear ambition: to create projects we can be proud of—complete, carefully resolved, and developed to high technical and professional standards. The company grew from practical experience across irrigation, hydropower, and solar energy, together with a determination to take on demanding challenges and pursue the best solution for each project.
Our early work focused on hydropower and renewable energy, later expanding into road studies, river protection, bridges, water infrastructure, and other civil works. As the demand for energy projects increased across Albania and the region, Blue Water Energy strengthened its energy practice, developing dedicated expertise in solar, wind, hydropower, and power infrastructure while preserving its broader multidisciplinary capabilities.
Today, our team brings together architects, civil, hydraulic, and electrical engineers, as well as surveyors, working across Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Italy. Our portfolio ranges from focused technical assignments to large-scale developments, including a 62 MWdc solar project in Albania, an 81 MWp solar project in North Macedonia, and a 366 MW wind project in Albania.
Regardless of scale or sector, we approach every assignment as a complete project—balancing investor objectives, real site conditions, technical requirements, legal and regulatory compliance, environmental responsibility, and the interests of local communities. This integrated perspective continues to shape both our growth and the way we work.
